California Fun

We had a great time in California. First, we spent time with Amy and her precious little boy.
My hubby and her hubby had great fun one night, playing with the flash from the camera. It was hilarious watching them act like little kids. Amy even got in on the action.
We took the ferry to Tiburon and had a relaxing day in that "sleepy city". We went to a frozen yogurt place, tucked away in a little alley, which seemed to be as popular as the Soup Nazi's place on Seinfeld. We visited Alamo Square and saw the "painted ladies" (the housefronts that were the set for the front of the Tanner's house in Full House).
My hubby and Amy's hubby played golf one day and then we met up at Ghiradelli Square. Toad joined us that day and had some cookies n' cream ice cream at Ghiradelli. Yum.
That was also the day that we took Toad to the beach for the first time.

The six of us went to the San Francisco Zoo. Baby C was probably not quite sure what the big deal was and Toad fell asleep on Daddy's shoulder part way through our visit. But, we had a great time nonetheless.
Then, to end that great day, we headed to Battery Park where we got engaged. For old times' sake, we took a few pictures where it all began. :)

Since my hubby had to get back to work in AZ, we took one last picture with Amy and her hubby. Toad and I stayed in CA for another week... More to come on that...

So great to see the pictures and catch up on you and your life. I know how hard and frustrating it is when people are hurting and all you can do is pray, but you want to be able to fix it in a tangible way.
