We had good food (thanks to my mother-in-love), good laughs and got to spend time with good friends.
I had told my hubby that we were going to dinner with some friends for his birthday. So, naturally, we had to drop Toad off at my in-law's house as they were "going to babysit him". But, when we walked in the door, a good, loud SURPRISE was yelled and poppers were popped and horns were blown. As I expected, Toad was completely startled and burst into tears, but my hubby was shocked, surprised, and happy. Most of all, he felt special and sensed that he was loved. That was my whole intention. I am so grateful to all our dear friends who were able to be there to party with us. Happy "birthday season" babe! I love you more than words.
