Every Blessing You Pour Out...

"Every Blessing You Pour Out, I'll Turn Back to Praise"
Our small group is going through the books Every Woman's Marriage and Every Man's Marriage. So, as I read my chapter for tonight's discussion, I began thinking more intently about the content of the chapter. The author proposed that what our husbands want most (even more than sex or respect) is to make their wives happy--to be that person that makes us smile, whom we are truly happy being around. Whether or not this is true for my hubby, I'll have to talk with him. :) But, nonetheless, I began thinking of all the blessings I have been given. All the things that I have to be happy and smile about. All the ways my hubby and others in my life have given me reason to be happy. So, in an effort to try to focus on those blessings more often, I am going to choose one thing for each of the next 18 days for which I am thankful. And, I'm gonna share that with you. Yes, 18 is my favorite number, but it is also, ironically, the number of days left in the month. So, prepare to read about 18 different things or people through whom God has blessed me.
For a little taste of what is to come, you can check out my first real post about the Men in My Life.
